Elektrobit Launches Windows Mobile Satellite Phone

I've just returned from a weekend vacation, just to learn that there's a new generations of phone just around the corner...
(I'm not here for 3 days and this is what you are all up to???)

Couple of days ago, Elektrobit, a small firm who's doing their best to reinvent the satellite phones, revealed their Windows Mobile Satellite phone.

According to Elektrobit, this device is already a working model which can resists cold and heat well, but it isn't formally ruggedized.

But the interesting part of this phone is that it can roam between different network types: It runs on Wi-Fi when it can, on 3G networks when it's in cellular range, and on satellite networks when it's out of range.

Interested? Take a closer look.
