Android 1.5 will include a UI facelift

It has been a while since I wrote something interesting about the Android, but after version 1.5 of the OS has finally been announced, there are now some new example of the changes Google's developers are going to release with it:

According to the Android Developer's blog: there will be some cosmetic UI framework changes in Android 1.5.

The images below demonstrate some of the changes around the finishing of each button, check-box style and more.

Like it? Me too. You have to admit that the left image does look a bit like the 80's.

One of the things I didn't like in the Android was the feeling that it's just the first release. I think that small/cosmetic things like UI enhancements can really make a difference.
