Few days ago I wrote about my personal iPhone killer, knowing for a fact that in reality, there's no such thing as an iPhone killer...
Well, apparently, I was wrong.
According to JKOnTheRun, There is an iPhone killer, at least in the US, and it's called the Curve.
According to to the figures they published, RIM BlackBerry managed to pass Apple’s iPhone in the first quarter of this 2009.
(Verizon has been running an aggressive “buy one get one (BOGO) free” promotion that is credited with nabbing three of the top five smartphone slots)
In fact, BlackBerry actually dominates this list, while Nokia, Motorola, HTC or Samsung are not even in there...
The top five list:
- RIM BlackBerry Curve (all 83XX models)
- Apple iPhone 3G (all models)
- RIM BlackBerry Storm
- RIM BlackBerry Pearl (all models, except flip)
- T-Mobile G1
