1. Stylus:
I know it's old fashion, but by the size of it it can make the perfect notebook replacement.
Oh wait, no, you cannot write with it… it doesn't have a stylus…
2. Multi-tasking:
I would like to be able to use twitter, facebook, mails, spreadshots – all at the same time. Is that too much to ask?
3. Keyboard:
No need to explain this one of course
4. Desktop-like Applications
When the screen size can allow it (and it does), I do want to see more buttons, menus, options that give me a full control over my application content.
5. Mouse:
You know, being able to work with a centralized controlling device (imagine how tired your hand will be after using the thing for 20-30 minutes when everything you need to do requires a lot of movements across the screen; up, down, up, down, multi-touch, up, down…)
Anything I missed?

A stylus wouldn't work anyway - it's capacitive touch. You'd have to have a special iPen but I agree this would be perfect for note taking.
A non-multitasking device? It's 2010 not 1990. Get with the program. Of course, Apple could just be living by the "always leave them wanting more" mantra.
Gear Live is reporting a physical keyboard will be available.
Can't comment on #4. Haven't seen it in action yet.
You can get RSIs with a mouse, too. This one will be interesting, though.
I just don't understand why they don't just took the screen of a notebook, slapped on OSX and presto!
Add the gadgets like separate keyboard, camera etc. and it would have been an instant hit.
Now.... it's a missed chance, no matter what Apple fans say. Let's see what the next gen of the iPad will bring....
@Joe-actually, HTC makes a capacitive stylus for the HD2. An Apple-branded stylus is possible.
Come On Guys... ITS APPLE!
In less then half a year they'll come out with something better that has all the features. its allll $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
